Experience The Durability of Crowns

Single visit dentistry means no temporaries, no additional injections for ceramic restorations are fabricated in our lab.  Crowns are very durable restorations and are recommended when the decay is too extensive for a composite restoration as they are able to withstand the chewing forces much better than composites. Inlays and onlays leave some tooth structure intact, whereas a crown (also known as a cap) is a full coverage restoration. With technological and material advances, we are now able to be more conservative with the amount of the tooth structure removed. These advances also allow us to complete the procedures in one single visit. Using CAD/CAM technology, crowns/inlays/onlays can be completed without having to wear a temporary, eliminating the need for additional injections and most importantly saving time by only needing to come in once from start to finish of the procedure.
